Drama Tasmania is a state wide professional association for Drama Educators and practitioners. Drama Tasmania is affiliated with Drama Australia, the national association for Drama in education.

Drama Tasmania aims to foster, support and encourage the use of Drama and dramatic techniques as educational methods and as learning areas across all levels of education. Drama Tasmania endeavours to provide collegial support and professional learning opportunities for arts educators, particularly focussing on those working in the field of Drama. The Association aims to provide an avenue for Drama educators to share ideas and resources through electronic or printed publications. The association provides a voice at a national level at forums and meetings with Drama Australia; including but not limited to the Drama Australia AGM.
