COURSE OVERVIEW

This is an opportunity to work with Clint Bolster, prominent character actor, theatrical clown and mask theatre specialist of 15 years!

Masks conceal, gives permission to play, allows expression, liberates and reveals. Participants will be continually amazed by their own and their peers, at there transformations. These particular mask styles have the capacity to instill a sense of joy, vulnerability, physical discipline and freedom of expression in the performer. 

The opportunity to play, express, be physical, relate and discover in real time and space. Clint’s approach is underpinned by the assumption that everyone has something to offer and that Mask Work is a unique and powerful engager that has the capacity to inspire particpants who might otherwise hang back. Clint’s practice informs & enhances the work of established and emerging artists in many contexts. Annually, Clint works as a comedic actor in large touring shows here in Australia and overseas; he provides in excess of 180 days of transformational activity in Australian schools; & performs in over 50 special events as a comedy character or on stilts. Clint is a career actor, known internationally by many artists who work in Commedia as a peer and leader in his field.
