“This morning Clint from Homunculus Theatre came out and ran a Commedia workshop with my year 10 Drama class. Right from the beginning the students were engaged and enjoying themselves. Some students had never done drama before and had been a little tentative in my class. Not so with Clint. The workshop was relevant and energetic and for a Monday morning, all students were involved and awake!

Commedia is often a subject that students find hard to grasp but after a 2 hour workshop with Clint, the students were showing me things that I wouldn’t be able to get out of them in weeks. The best thing out of the workshop however was the laughter. Two hours of laughter for all the students and myself, was the perfect way to start to the week.

We are hoping now to book a commedia performance show with Homunculus to really cement those ideas with the students. Thanks so much Clint for an enjoyable and informative morning.”
