The Clayfield College Drama AIR Program has been running annually for many years, giving year 12 students the opportunity to work with performing arts professionals. Participants perform in a professional venue, and in doing so, extend themselves as young artists.
Price for longer AIRs (spaced over several weeks, a term, semester or year) may vary according to contact hours, outcome (i.e polished performance or informal showing), and other factors. AIRs can be tailored to your budget, time frame and unit needs!

A school Artist in Residency can be a risky venture. The Artist might be highly creative and passionate about their work, but they also need the skill to engage students. At Clayfield College we have worked with Homunculus Theatre Company for 3 years, and for the fact we want them back again it’s clear we are impressed with the creativity and skill of these artists. Homunculus has taken on the challenge of developing a new work of comic theatre that involves all of our Yr12 students as collaborative artists, and each show has seen the cast fully invested in the creative process. Every year the shows have sold out, and we see past students returning to see the results of the latest Homunculus collaboration. So, if you are considering investing in a unique and valuable experience for your students, we can’t recommend them highly enough.
