“Corinda SHS wishes to thank Homunculus Theatre Company, for sharing their energy, skill, personal stories (during question time) and years of experience with us this afternoon with “20 Lazzis in a Hat.” We are very grateful that such a professional Theatre Company values being involved with State Education and there is nothing more powerful for Drama students than to personally witness how live theatre can engage, entertain and educate. Commedia dell’Arte comes alive in this hilarious performance and the students observe first hand the conventions of breaking the fourth wall, working off the audience, famous stock characters, comic burle and lazzi. The students (yrs 7 – 12) were inspired but more importantly their commitment to why Drama is important was genuinely strengthened”
